Crossings update: Rafah Crossing opened until further notice, after operating four days last week. Israel continues to deny virtually all travel via Erez
February 9, 2021. Rafah Crossing was opened last week and about 7,000 people crossed in both directions between Gaza and Egypt. Israel’s lockdown at Erez Crossing has been in effect for almost a year.

January 31, 2021. Rafah Crossing between Gaza and Egypt will open in both directions tomorrow, for the first time since November 2020. Israel still refusing to allow Palestinians to transit through its territory abroad.
Students from Gaza blocked for travel to studies abroad
January 14, 2021. Students from Gaza are being blocked for travel abroad due to Israel’s “coronavirus closure” on Gaza. Some 450 academics in Israel have already signed a petition calling on the government to allow them to travel.
