Lecture by Gisha’s executive director at the Institute for National Security Studies

May 18, 2015. The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) will hold a seminar on Tuesday, May 19, which will examine trends and changes in the Palestinian arena. The second session of the seminar will discuss the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, in which Gisha Executive Director Eitan Diamond will speak about “a change in the policy of separation and closure as a condition for the establishment of normal civilian life in Gaza and for ensuring stability in the region”. Sari Bashi, co-founder of Gisha, will participate in a conference on the same day at the Minerva Center for Human Rights at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and will address transitional justice in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The title of Adv. Bashi’s lecture is “Separating Land, Separating People: Legal Analysis of Access Restrictions between Gaza and the West Bank “. Bashi will present at the seminar, which is to be held in the Mount Scopus campus of the Hebrew University.
