“If I were a woman in Gaza, I would do exactly what these courageous women did”

November 9, 2012, Tania Hary, Director of International Relations at Gisha wrote an article for the Forward about the rejection of the petition filed by five Gaza students seeking to study in the West Bank.

“When I wanted to leave my family home to go to university, or when I thought about studying abroad, the world was my oyster…No one asked me to prove how exceptional or humanitarian my aspirations were”.
